Mit dem Citadel Music Festival<\/strong>, seit 19 Jahren eine Adresse in der Berliner Open Air Saison, fing zun\u00e4chst alles ganz klein an. Damals im Juli 2005 wurde mit dem ersten Konzert von Blackmore\u2019s Night<\/strong> der musikalische Grundstein gelegt; sozusagen der erste Testlauf f\u00fcr das Berliner Festival, welches eigentlich gar keines ist. Das Citadel Music Festival<\/strong> ist keineswegs ein 1, 2 oder 3-Tagesfestival, sondern vielmehr eine Konzertreise durch die sch\u00f6nsten Monate des Jahres (Mai \u2013 September). Veranstaltet von der Firma Trinity Music<\/a>, die mit ann\u00e4hernd 1.000 Events pro Jahr zu den gr\u00f6\u00dften Marktteilnehmern in der Konzert- und Eventbranche Berlins z\u00e4hlt, erreichte das kleine \u201eFestival\u201d schnell gro\u00dfe Aufmerksamkeit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A lot has happened since then, with up to 25 concerts per season, there is no comparable format in the capital.\nThe Zitadelle is also well received by the artists. Punk icon Patti Smith<\/strong> honoured us for the fourth time in 2022. Billy Idol, Jethro Tull, Queens Of The Stone Age, Silbermond<\/strong> and others were also happy to return. Singer Amy Lee from the alternative rock band Evanescence<\/strong> wrote on Twitter \u201e\u2026this may be the most beautiful venue I\u2019ve ever played!\u201d<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Citadel Music Festival is not limited to one musical genre. Why should it? We believe that everyone interested in music should be inspired by the unique atmosphere. This means that all genres are represented at the festival, from pop acts such as Silbermond<\/strong> or Ich und Ich<\/strong> to harder acts such as Nine Inch Nails<\/strong> or Rage Against The Machine<\/strong> to established legends such as Bob Dylan<\/strong> or Chuck Berry<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
