He is one of the most distinctive voices of all time: Throughout his career, Seal has left an indelible mark on pop, R&B, soul, and dance music. Over the course of his career, Seal has sold over 30 million albums worldwide, generated more than 1 billion streams, and won four GRAMMY® Awards, three BRIT Awards, two Ivor Novello Awards, and one MTV VMA.

As a versatile and influential force in pop culture, his repertoire includes ubiquitous anthems such as “Killer,” “Crazy,” and “Kiss From A Rose,” all of which stormed to No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, were honored with GRAMMY® Awards for “Record of the Year” and “Song of the Year,” and graced his four-time platinum masterpiece Seal II (1994). In retrospect, Stereogum compared the album to a “radio wave transmitted into the universe from a much, much more beautiful planet.”

In addition to appearances in films by legendary directors such as Spike Lee and the late Joel Schumacher, his music has been celebrated through cover versions by Alanis Morissette, Bastille, and George Michael, to name just a few. As a testament to his enduring influence, Seal has appeared in The Lonely Island’s cult classic “Pop Star: Never Stop Never Stopping,” Tyler Perry’s “The Passion,” and on “America’s Got Talent” and “The Masked Singer,” among others. Most recently, he was nominated for a GRAMMY® Award in 2019 in the “Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album” category for “Standards.” Furthermore, throughout his career, Seal has collaborated with Jeff Beck, Joni Mitchell, Santana, P!nk, John Legend, and Gallant, among others.

In 2026, Seal’s voice will ring out louder than ever as he celebrates 30+ years of his albums Seal I + II alongside his fans—bring on the summer!
