What do I have to consider when entering?

There may be increased security checks at the entrance to the individual events at the Citadel and we therefore ask you to arrive in good time.

Please refer to the respective event information for the exact admission time.

For safety reasons, it is not permitted to carry bags and rucksacks that exceed the format A4 (21 cm x 29,7cm) are not permitted. Therefore, please refrain from taking large items of luggage with you.

Deviating from this, other, stricter regulations of the respective organiser may apply. We will inform you of any last-minute changes in good time on our website and on Facebook.

What age restrictions apply at the Citadel?

The following rules apply, unless the event is declared "from 18 years":

Persons under 6 years of age
Children under the age of 6 - even if accompanied by a person with parental authority - are not admitted to our events.

Persons under 14 years of age
Children and young people under the age of 14 may only attend the concert if accompanied by a person with parental authority or a person of legal age authorised by the person with parental authority. An authorisation form must be completed and signed by the legal guardian.

Persons under the age of 16
Children and young people under the age of 16 may attend public dance events unaccompanied with a permission form ("Muttizettel") completed by their legal guardian and upon presentation of a photo ID (identity card or health card).

Persons under the age of 18
Young people under the age of 18 may attend public dance events unaccompanied until midnight upon presentation of a photo ID (identity card or health card).

Can I take my selfie stick onto the premises?

For safety reasons, selfie sticks may not be taken onto the event site.

Is it possible to bring food and drinks to the Citadel?

Drinks (non-alcoholic only) are permitted up to a maximum of 0.5 litre per person in a TetraPak or plastic bottle (PET) without a screw cap/lid. Larger packaging units (over 0.5 litres) and bulky items, glass or cans are not permitted. The only exceptions to this are events where this has been expressly announced in advance.

When will the Citadel open?

Is smoking allowed on the premises?

Yes, smoking is permitted. Please do not smoke in the presence of children or other visitors who may be disturbed.

Can I bring camping chairs or other seating?

No, unfortunately this is not permitted. However, there are simple benches and beer sets. Seating cannot be guaranteed unless it is a seated concert and you have a ticket with a seating entitlement.

Has my booked concert been cancelled or postponed?

We will inform you about cancellations, postponements and changes to events here on our website.

If your event has been cancelled, you can return the tickets to the advance booking office where you purchased them. The purchase price of the tickets will then be refunded to you.

If the event has been postponed or rescheduled, your tickets will generally remain valid. In this case, you will receive detailed information on the respective concert page.

Where is the best place to park?

There are limited parking facilities near the Citadel. We recommend travelling by public transport if you can do without a car. Preferably take the U7 underground line to the Zitadelle stop.

Can I buy a ticket for the whole season?

Unfortunately not. There is no pass or ticket for the entire season. The concerts take place individually and you only buy tickets for the concert you want.

Can I bring my photo/video camera?

In general, disposable, mobile phone and pocket cameras are permitted. Video and professional cameras (including SLR cameras) are not permitted.

Are there still tickets available at the box office?

Tickets are generally available at the box office, unless the concert is marked as 'sold out'. Please also note the event information on the concert pages.

Can I apply myself/my band as support?

Unfortunately no. Support band applications for a specific concert are not possible. However, you can enter yourself/your band in the Trinity Music Support-Pool. If a support band is required, we will select a suitable opener from this pool.

Is there a lost property office?

Yes, if you have lost or found something, please report it to the box office at the entrance to the Citadel. You can also call the next working day to find out whether your lost property has been handed in.

    Bags and backpacks may only be carried up to a maximum size of DIN A4 (21 cm x 29.7 cm).

    1. Please keep your luggage to a minimum
    2. Items of luggage that exceed the DIN A4 format (21 cm x 29.7 cm) may not be taken onto the event site
    3. It is not permitted to bring bulky items (e.g. umbrellas, selfie sticks, your own seating, etc.).

    1. One bag per visitor up to max. format DIN A4 (21 cm x 29.7 cm)
    2. One non-alcoholic drink per visitor up to max. 0.5-litre container size in a TetraPak or plastic bottle (PET) without screw cap/lid
